Thank you for volunteering your time to be a BYC Volleyball coach, this program would not be possible without YOU!

Please take a moment to review each section of the handbook prior to the start of the season. The full handbook can also be downloaded and printed for easy reference.

- COMMUNICATION GUIDELINES

Include the parents of the players on your team in ALL communications about the season.
Communication should start as soon as the rosters are released. Include: your contact info, your coaching experience (and/or your why!), practice times, game times, expectations and game rules – most of this info will be on the website so feel free to point them there.
EMAIL will be the primary method of communication to parents, you can also TEXT time sensitive updates to parents and players if you have the parents' consent to do so.
Copy the commissioner on all emails to your teams.
Cancellation of practices and/or games will be communicated ONLY by the BYC Volleyball Commissioner. If you would like to request that a team practice or game be cancelled, please contact the BYC Volleyball Commissioner immediately so alternate arrangements can be made and/or a communication can be sent.
