TEAMS League

This offering is for players in 3rd - 12th grade who have 1+ years volleyball experience who want to play competitively while refining and learning new skills.

Club & Invitational Division

This league is an INVITATION ONLY league for players in 7th - 12th grade who have completed at least ONE season of Club (Travel) Volleyball. Non-club players may be invited to join this division based on demonstrated skill level and attendance in the evaluation session(s).

What to Expect

  • Evaluation sessions for division and team placement will be held prior to the start of the season on Monday, FEBRUARY 17, 2025 and will be organized by grade. All players must attend their assigned session:
     

    • 3rd & 4th Grade - 11am - 12pm​

    • 5th & 6th Grade - 12:30-2:30pm

    • 7th-12 Grade Session #1 - 3 - 5pm*

    • 7th-12 Grade Session #2 - 6 - 8pm*

       *Players will be notified beforehand which session they should attend via email​

  • 4 Divisions will be offered for SPRING: Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced & Club with varied rules for each division.

  • Players will only be allowed to play in one division.

  • Practices will be 1 hour for beginner teams and 1.5 hours for all others and will be held on Tuesday, Wednesday OR Thursday. Practice night will be assigned based on team and availability.

  • Practice/Game start times will be determined based on team placement.

  • Games will be on Friday nights and the schedule will be posted prior to the beginning of the season.

  • All games will have refs and scorekeepers.

  • Work teams will be assigned select weeks (Intermediate & Advanced divisions only) during the season for line judging and a minimum of 6 players MUST be at the gym at their scheduled time to avoid a penalty (TBD). 

  • Sports Engine will be used for practice/game availability and team announcements.

  • All teams will have a combination of boys and girls (depending on registration numbers)

  • All players will be provided with a game jersey. It is recommended that players also wear knee pads and bring a water bottle (not provided) to practices & games. 

  • Balls will be provided, but it is highly recommended to purchase a ball to practice with at home. The balls that are used in each division are -

  • All age groups will spend time learning and improving individual volleyball skills including overhand serving, passing, setting & hitting.

  • The players will be taught how to play the game and be encouraged to combine passing, setting and hitting into 3 hit attacks as their skills develop.
